weconverse

I (about me) am not sure whether weconverse is a good idea or not. But at least we could try it out. I consider this web site as a kind of social media project. Weconverse is built from my presentations about historic, contemporary, and future questions regarding media, marketing, and primary education. Then I sincerely hope that others will join the conversations in order to influence the deveopments within those areas as well as my deeds in the same fields.

My gigs (lectures and speaking assignments) were previously briefly documented at www.bat.se/gigs. The ambition now is to manage a number of related needs that has become salient over the years. Thus, through weconverse we should be able to:

  • Contribute with comments. Everyone is invited to comment my presentations, the blog posts and most of the pages here. I moderate comments in order to minimize spam. But critical comments, and of course positive remarks, will be published.
  • Be alerted about my presentations. (by subscriping to a rss-channel, not done yet)
  • Download slides. With few exceptions all slides form my presentations will be available here, linked as a pdf-file from the blog posts related to the gig.
  • Find tips and guides. For example start blogging, create a wiki or produce a podcast.
  • Participate in experiments. If nothing else, weconverse fulfills my need to try out new Web 2.0 functions in a relevant context.

The content will dominantly be written in Swedish, although English stuff occur whenever I meet an English speaking audience or he feels an urge to inform the world of important unfoldings in Sweden.

Please join the conversation and help us understand and reinforce the power of us.
